 Futuristic TV Programming technology with Dish Network and DirecTV

The publics hunger for higher quality and quantity of TV programming seems to be insatiable and research engineers are constantly at work trying to develop new technologies to satisfy their appetite. Some TV programmers more than others have been quicker to implement the new technological developments as they became available and this is what has led to three different technologies for the public to choose from when they are selecting the TV programming that the are going to be watching in their homes and businesses.

Standard TV programming that you receive with simple antennae on the TV or roof of a house is the lowest level of TV programming, because it has not seen any technological advancements of any real substance in several decades now. It changed from black and white to color and then from tube state electronics and then it basically stopped there. The TV sets themselves have gone through a whole litany of design and cosmetic changes, but the technology on the inside of them has basically stayed the same.

Cable TV programming service was an advancement that standard TV programmers passed up and that led to the second technological level of TV programming and it hasn't changed much either since it first appeared on the market a few decades ago. The only real improvement that cable TV brought viewing public was the ability to provide more channels and the elimination of TV commercials due to the technology that enabled cable service providers to charge for their service.

The onset of the space age brought promise of vastly superior technologies that were going to be available to the public to make their lives so much better and easier and also bring lower costs on allot of the products that were being developed with space age technology.

Cable service providers passed up the opportunity to adopt these newer technologies into their service infrastructure and this led to the creation of a third higher level, of TV programming called satellite TV programming.

DirecTV and Dish Network are the two unchallenged leaders in satellite TV programming, because the visionaries who created then have been quick to implement new technological advancements as they have come available over the last two decades that they have been serving the public.
